Join us to recognize the historic significance of Holyoke, MA as The Paper City.ย During the late 1800s Holyoke produced an estimated 80% of the writing paper used in the U.S. Historically home to the Pocomtuc, Agawam, and Nonotuck people and nestled next to the Connecticut River, the imprint of its manufacturing history can still be found throughout the city. This inaugural exhibition features artwork from across the country made on, of, or about paper. The 2025 HPF Exhibition was graciously juried by Felice Caivano, artist and Chair of the Holyoke Community College Art Department.
